We recommend that participants stay around 1-2 days after their course ends as there is a graduation ceremony held on the last day of class. That said, if the course finishes on Friday, we recommend that participants stay at least till Sunday. If the course ends on Tuesday, participants should stay around at least till Thursday. In fact, housing is included 2 days after the program ends for participants who have booked their host family or apartment accommodation with us.

The Family House/Residence – Bed & Breakfast

The Family House Bed and Breakfast offers accommodations similar to a traditional family-stay, but with more independence and privacy. Both private and shared rooms are available, as are private and shared bathrooms. Your stay includes breakfast and dinner Monday through Sunday. Guests are given a key to their room and to the house and are free to come and go as they please. There’s lots of opportunity to practice your Spanish with Juanita (the house mother), Mauricio (the chef), Mercedes, and Giovanna. Laundry services are available for a small extra fee. The Family House is within walking distance (10-20 minutes) from the school.

Cost: $855 USD (4 weeks) Private Room. Each additional week is $210 USD.

Cost: $665 USD (4 weeks) Shared Room. Each additional week is $160 USD.

Traditional Family-Stay/ Host Family

Family-stays are all with pre-approved families and include breakfast and dinner Monday through Saturday. All of our host families are middle-class and live in homes and areas that are attractive. All family-stays include a private room and most include private bathroom. Many of the families have been housing international students for years. Guests are given a key to the house and are free to come and go as they please, but they must respect the routine and rules of the family. All family-stays are within walking distance (10-25 minutes) or within a 5-minute taxi ride from the school.

Cost: $665 USD (4 weeks) Private Room. Each additional week is $165 USD.

Cost: $570 USD (4 weeks) Shared Room. Each additional week is $140 USD.

Apartment

Our apartments are all modern, very comfortable, and fully furnished. Apartments come with equipped kitchens including plates and utensils required to live comfortably and cook for yourself. All apartments are very centrally located and are within easy walking distance or a short taxi ride to the school.

Cost: $495 USD (4 weeks) Private apartment.

Hostel

There are also many inexpensive hostels throughout Cusco and you may elect this option if you want the carefree hostel experience. We work with three different hostels, all of them clean and safe with excellent service and amenities including TV rooms, 24-hour kitchens, and more. All hostel accommodations include private rooms with private bathroom and are a 5 to 15 minute walk from the school.

Cost: $1,040 USD (4 weeks) Private Room. Each additional week is $270 USD.

Cost: $385 USD (4 weeks) Shared Room. Each additional week is $100 USD.

Hotel (3-Star)

Cusco has a great deal to offer in terms of hotels, ranging from 1-star to 5-star accommodations. We work with two 3-star hotels, both of which are modern and comfortable with all the necessary amenities plus breakfast included. All hotel rooms are private with a private bathroom. If you desire more luxurious accommodations please request the hotel option when you register.

Cost: $2,045 USD (4 weeks) Private Room. Each additional week is $530 USD.

Cost: $1,135 USD (4 weeks) Shared Room. Each additional week is $295 USD.
